(fertilizer bags, NPK fertilizers: kieserite, ammonium nitrate, sulfur, potassium oxide, DMPP, nitrogen ammonia...)
The fertilizer industry conveys a vast array of mythological figures and ancient symbols of speed, power and wealth through the colorful packages of its products. Growth Products is a sculptural work based on this iconography linked to fertilizer – a material significant to the economic paradigm in which farmers, and crops are entangled. While the demand of the world economy exerts an increasing pressure to accelerate growth, this works solidifies chemical fertilizer and explores the metaphoric language of its packages.

L’industrie des engrais arbore une grande variété de figures mythologiques et de symboles de richesse, de puissance et de vitesse, sur les emballages colorés de ses produits. Growth Products est un travail de sculpture qui se fonde sur cette iconographie développée par les producteurs d’engrais – un produit significatif du paradigme économique auquel font face les agriculteurs. Tandis que la demande mondiale augmente et les soumet à une pression accrue incitant à des cultures accélérées, cette installation solidifie des engrais chimiques et explore le contenu métaphorique de leurs emballages.
